Easy Fruit Tart Recipe

Easy Fruit Tart Recipe


Nothing sounds better than a fruit tart on a hot summer day. This one is EASY to make and will be gone in less than 24 hours!

If you’re a visual person like me, I’ve included pictures/videos along with the instructions. If you want to jump right into the instructions just scroll down. You can also print the recipe too.

Servings: Makes One 9”-12” Tart/Pie Pan

Prep Time: 30 - 40 Min.

Bake Time: 10 - 15 Min.


Pie Crust:

  • 1½ cup all purpose flour

  • ½ cup powdered sugar

  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar

  • 1½ sticks softened butter

Cream Filling:

  • 8oz. softened cream cheese

  • ½ cup granulated sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Any fruit of your choice


  • Food processor

  • Hand mixer

  • 9” or 12” tart/pie pan


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F

  2. Begin mixing the ingredients for the pie crust in the food processor until it is crumbly. Make sure to mix them all together at once. The mix should not be fluffy, it should be doughy.

  3. Spray the tart/pie pan with a non-stick cooking spray (I used this one.)

  4. Add the dough onto the pan and evenly spread it around.

  5. Bake the crust for 10-15 minutes. Until is a golden color.

  6. In a separate bowl, mix the ingredients for the cream filling and let it cool in the fridge.

  7. Begin cutting/prepping the fruit of your choice.

  8. Once the crust cools, with a spoon, add in the cream filling and level it out.

  9. Decorate the tart with your fruit. There are many different ways to decorate it, so have fun!

  10. Optional step; place the tart back in the fridge to chill for 10 minutes.


Side Note:

  • I blended a few extra strawberries, and with the basting brush, I glazed the juice onto the strawberries that I placed on the tart.

  • The same recipe can be used to make mini tarts!
